About Me

Half Welsh, half Kiwi. The youngest of three, born in the UK and raised in California. My mom is from a small village in Wales, where I spent summers of my childhood. My dad grew up in a small town outside Wellington, New Zealand. I went to high school and college in San Diego, then landed in Los Angeles almost fifteen years ago. Growing up across so many places and cultures shaped the way I see the world.

I'm a curious person, about places and about people. That curiosity is what sends me on long sabbaticals (a year living in Australia, most of Southeast Asia by backpack) and what keeps my hands busy at home: painting, yarn, woodworking, gardening, a new recipe most weekends. I'm a lifelong collector of good design in whatever form it shows up.

I take my health as seriously as a good meal with people I love. Yoga most weeks, runs when I can, dinner parties whenever friends can make time. I think the best way to love a community is to show up for it, whether that's a friend's art show or a gallery opening across town. I live in Echo Park with my wonderful partner and our dog, a small, spirited Alaskan Klee Kai (think mini husky). Off the clock, you'll find us enjoying a dirty martini, planning the next trip, or catching up with friends scattered across the world.
